My original 'Bear' painting. For this piece I wanted to mix strength with softness. It is one of those paintings that quietly holds a space, whilst also bringing warmth and a touch of the wild into your home.
I used honey tones with a hint of contrasting blue, and finished it with a sprinkle of daisies to keep it light and sunny. Letting the watercolours flow creates a feeling of movement, giving a a sense of artistic life to the whole painting. This piece was painted on Arches cold pressed watercolour paper.
